6ix9ine Doesn't Want To Be Called 6ix9ine Anymore?!

Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is currently on trial for allegedly choking a 16-year-old in Texas. He is also in the midst of being pressured to register as a sex offender after pleading guilty to one felony count of use of a 13-year-old girl in a sexual performance. Now, he is claiming he wishes to be only referred to as either "defendant," "accused," or his legal name Daniel Hernandez.

The reason for the change is because the titled '6ix9ine' "could be used to attach derogatory and satirically unflattering labels" on him.

Tekashi has previously served time for assault and selling heroin. He could face up to 3 years jail for his 2015 case, use of a 13-year-old girl in a sexual performance.
