Curry Is Out For The Next Two Games
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will not play in Monday's game against the Clippers or Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks as he continues to recover from a left groin strain.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said: "He's doing OK. It's a tricky injury. He's never had a groin injury before, so as I said the other day, the MRI was encouraging. There didn't appear to be anything dramatic in there, but the MRI doesn't always tell the story and you really have to go on symptoms.
"He won't play tonight or tomorrow and we're still going to evaluate daily and see where it all goes, but it's frustrating for him. He's had such a great start to the year. But again, it's a new injury for him and we've got to make sure he's fully healthy before we put him back out there."
Curry initially injured the groin in last Thursday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
