Drake Is Reportedly Getting A New Record Deal
Drake's 'Scorpion' is only just over a week old, but he's already allegedly got another released lined up with a new record deal. According to Variety: “When Drake signs his next deal, he’ll have another release ready to drop to accompany the news."
In the A-side track 'Is There More' from 'Scorpion', Drizzy spat "Soon as this album drop I'm out of the deal/In the house playin' D'Angelo, ‘How Does It Feel?" which alludes to the fact that Drake was going to leave Cash Money Records.
'Scorpion' has had major success and is Drake's eighth consecutive number one project. The album, which confirmed the existence of his son that had previously only been speculation, might be his last with Cash Money.
Speculation of Drake leaving the label has been prominent for some time, with fans assuming that after the release of 'More Life' in 2016 he would be free of his contractual obligations.
Stay tuned for more Drizzy news as it breaks.
