Elon Musk Shows Off Custom Air Jordan 1 'Tesla'
For some reason, billionaire Elon Musk is the latest to cop a custom design on the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette. At the unveiling of the Tesla Model Y (the brand's second mass-market electric vehicle) on Thursday, Musk sported these python-skin kicks and to be honest, they stole the show. Let's get a closer look at Elon Musk’s custom Air Jordan 1 'Tesla'.
The customs were created by Elon's friend and sneaker customiser Marco Acoster for his birthday back in Jan, reflecting the vision of Tesla and taking design cues from the Tesla Roadster. The customs feature Horween Leather Shell Cordovan for the toebox, which then has a laser-cut Tesla logo stitched on top with the Tesla logo and Swoosh made from red metallic leather. The remainder of the black upper is constructed using python leather and pony hair.
