Golden State Take The Gold Again š
The Golden State Warriors have won their second NBA Championship in a row over the weekend with a 4-0 sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In what was described as an "embarrassing performance" by Mark Jackson,Ā ESPN commentator and former basketball star, the Cleveland crowd was left extremely disappointed in their team after they crumbled under the pressure.
Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant copped an impressive 57 points together. Durant took home the Finals' MVP for the second year running.Ā
Although LeBron was a part of the losing team, it was revealed that he had played the last few days with a "severe bone contusion" in his hand after he punched a blackboard in the locker roomĀ a few games prior. He said it was "self-inflicted, due to emotions running high. I pretty much played the last 3 games with a broken hand."
Ā
LeBron had an MRI after Game 1, but the hand was too swollen for definitive results. A second MRI was taken later that indicated itās a bone contusion in the right hand. It is not expected to require surgery.
