Good Heavens Chris Evans: R.I.P. Captain America
It's official - Chris Evans is officially putting away his Captain America shield after wrapping up 'Avengers 4' this week. Evans has been playing Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America since 2011 and has had three CA movies as well as four Avengers movies.
Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

Back in March, Evans said in an interview that "You want to get off the train before they push you off", so the move is not entirely unexpected. There is no news yet of what will happen to the iconic character, but rumours are flying left, right and centre that the hero will die in the next Marvel flick.
I’m not crying. I’m weeping. There’s a difference.
