McGregor And Khabib Suspended For Post-UFC 229 Brawl
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has announced that both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov have been suspended after inciting the brawl that followed their UFC 229 fight.
The commission has barred Khabib from competing in the state for nine months and fined him $500,000. McGregor was given a six-month suspension with a $50,000 fine.
After Khabib's win over McGregor, he was taunted to the point that he scaled the cage octagon and went after him, angry after the jeers from Conor including attacking his Islamic faith.
