Takeoff's 'The Last Rocket' Review

Takeoff's 'The Last Rocket' Review

Last week, Migos' Takeoff released his debut solo album aptly titled 'The Last Rocket'. Now we've had a few days to process the album, we've put together a review of the 12 tracks. Let's get into it.

The album surprisingly had only two features, but that didn't make it any less epic. Takeoff is widely recognised as the underdog of Migos and their best rapper, which may have just been proven by this album. Although Quavo has commercial appeal in buckets, Takeoff has a talent for rap that can't go ignored. The lyrics on this album seem authentic and are cleverly written.

He is exactly what you want from a rapper -you can still recognise him as a rapper as he talks about all the same shit, but he has a unique flair for his artistry which keeps the listener engaged and excited about the bars he is spitting.

The production has been highly commended for good reason; it's full of trap bangers. The lack of features kept the project feeling authentic, whereas Quavo's album had twelve that made the project feel more like him.

Overall, we were very impressed with this project!
