Ya Bois Butler & Simmons Wore Matching Headbands BC They're Best Bros
It seems Jimmy Butler is already getting on better with his new team, Philadelphia 76ers, than the Minnesota Timberwolves. During their 123-98 win over the Wizards on Friday, he and point guard Ben Simmons even wore matching headbands as a symbol of their bond while Butler works with our homegrown hero on his defense.
"They are defensive brothers. They are blood brothers. That band to me signifies a bonding, a defensive bonding," the 76ers Head Coach said in a press conference on Friday. "I've asked Jimmy to put Ben under his wing and really help Ben be all he can be defensively."
Brett Brown says Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler wearing headbands tonight was a "bonding of defensive brothers". Says he's asked Butler to take Simmons under his wing and help get the most out of him defensively.
