'Aquaman' Takes 'Dark Knight Rises' Spot As DC's Biggest Movie Ever

'Aquaman'is officially the highest-grossing DC Comics movie ever made, dethroning the iconic Christopher Nolan Batman epic 'The Dark Knight Rises'.  

According to Box Office Mojo, the Jason Momoa flick has earned approx $1.090 billion at the box office, whereas 'The Dark Knight Rises' copped $1.084 billion. 'Aquaman' hasn't even dropped in Japan yet, so the number is expected to rise. 

In comparison, 2017's 'Justice League' made $658 globally, which 'Aquaman' crushed in its second weekend.
