Nicki Minaj Declares War On BET
BET published an article highlighting how Cardi B became the first female solo rapper to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys but also decided to drag Nicki Minaj while they were at it: "Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront," BET said in since-deleted posts across social media.
In response, Minaj declared war. She and Lil Wayne pulled out of the BET Experience concert - the lead-up concert to the BET Awards, and then taunted BET with a series of Tweets. Since this, Bet has apologised with the following statement:
